  • Where are you located?
    • A: We are located in Elizabeth, CO, about 10 miles South East of Parker.
  • Q: What ages of riders do you take?
    • A: We take students 4 years and older. We have students who are well into their 70’s
  • Q: What ability of riders do you take?
    • A: We have students of abilities, from very beginner (never ridden) to advanced-intermediate.
  • Q: Do you take riders with disabilities?
    • A: Yes. We are a PATH certified center, and can take riders with both cognitive and physical disabilities. We have a wheelchair ramp. You can contact the owner at jami@connectionsthroughhorses.com to discuss specific disabilities and accommodations.
  • Q: Do you have a weight limit?
    • A: Generally, we have a weight limit of 200 lbs for our horses. But you can contact jami@connectionsthroughhorses.com to discuss specific situations.
  • Q: What kind of sessions do you have?
    • A: We have both individual and group sessions
  • Q: How much does it cost?
    • A: We have a no contract introductory session that costs only $50
    • A: For children 4-5 we have a special program where they have a 30 minute lesson weekly to get them proficient for our next level programs. $250 per month. These classes are in the afternoons on Mondays and Thursdays between 1 and 3:30.
    • A: For children 5 – 18 we have a monthly subscription that costs $325/month which includes one 30 minute private and one 60 group lesson per week. The private portion of these classes are typically after 3:30 Monday through Thursday and Saturdays when available. The group portion is at 10:00 on Saturday or 11:30 on Tuesdays for those available during the day.
    • A. For adults we have a one hour class each week where we cover riding, ground work and other important information about horses. This is $450 per month for weekly private lessons and $375 for a semi-private lesson. These classes are typically on Wednesdays before 3:30 p.m.
  • Q: What are your facilities like?
    • A: Our facilities are completely outdoors. We have a round pen and and arena where we do ground work, and riding. We also have miles of trails where students can ride.
